Skyrim Missing Body Textures

Mods at the top of the list are loaded first. They are considered higher in the mod load order. Some mods will say they require to be the highest mod, or at the top of the load order. On the other hand, mods at the bottom of the list are loaded last. They are considered lower in the mod load order. Some mods will require to be the lowest mod, or at the bottom of the load order.

I migrated my mods from NMM to MO. Everything appeared to be working until I got to the last four mods - night sky, shooting stars, rainbows, and the armor I've been using since level 20-something (I'm currently level 42, so it was awhile ago when I crafted it). I installed, LOOT-ed, Wrye Bash-ed, did a final check of the conflicts to make sure the textures I wanted would appear, then started. I've been having alot of problems lately with after playing for a little while alot of textures start turning purple. What I have gathered reading a couple forums is that this problem is caused by the game running out of memory, which would make sense. There seems to be (no pun intended) to be a problem with the meshes I use which caused a missing texture in the ankles as well as black toe nails for all female characters and the female elders are missing the textures in their hips as well. The purple texture bug happens with the official skyrim texture pack download, the nexus modding site should have a fix for it. Alternatively the 2K HD texture pack can be used instead. If you are ever in doubt about a mod, go to the Nexus Mods website and search the mod title. If the author has been around for a while, you’ll find his mod there. Usually on Nexus Mods, you can find a more detailed description of where to put mods in the load order. Hopefully with this guide, you will better understand some of the terminology. I want to thank the many mod authors who are actively at work to bring us some truly amazing content. Bethesda as always is fantastic as well.

I've tried everything, turning off mods, re-installing, changing graphics settings, updating vid card. Nothing fixes this. Also tried changing.

I truly hope that this guide benefits all players who decide to use it. It doesn’t matter if you’re on PC, Xbox or PS4.
